To provide theoretical and practical training on the use of fire extinguishers. Candidates will have the opportunity to set off extinguishers outside under controlled conditions

• Theoretical descriptions and specification of the types of equipment
• Description of the class of fires
• Siting and locations of fire extinguishers
• Practical use of fire extinguishers
• Pre-engagement action
• Fire extinguisher checks

This course is designed specifically for those who wish to have an insight into the use of fire extinguishers and the techniques involved, in order to enhance an operator’s competency
